Bio and Approach

I believe in the power of authentic connection and the fundamental strengths that reside within each individual. As a person-centered therapist, my approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and a deep commitment to honoring your unique journey. I offer compassionate, evidence-based therapy tailored to your specific needs, always striving to foster a safe and inclusive space.

My journey in this field began on the East Coast and has given me the privilege of working with children, families, and individuals in diverse settings on both coasts. This background includes roles as a Behavioral Health Specialist in primary care, a Psychiatric Social Worker in hospital settings, and a Community-Based Therapist supporting youth and families in their homes. I have also had the honor of serving as a Field Instructor for graduate students at Portland State University.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon as well as a board-approved Supervisor for Clinical Social Work Associates. My academic foundation includes a Master of Science in Social Work from Columbia University, where I specialized in Children, Youth, and Families, and bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Stony Brook University.
