Approach & About
Many of the people I work with are creative, relationally perceptive, and highly adaptive. They are artists, caregivers, and teens navigating complex systems, or therapists themselves who understand their histories and patterns intellectually yet still find them activated in their bodies and relationships. I understand the therapeutic relationship itself as the primary agent of change. Within that relational frame, I integrate Brainspotting and Art Therapy to engage both cognitive insight and embodied processing. My work draws from Psychodynamic and Experiential traditions. My style is warm, direct, and cushioned with levity.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Art Therapy from New York University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Art Practices with an emphasis in Family Studies from Portland State University. I have worked in residential, hospital and community based mental health settings for 8+ years with a focus on child and adolescent mental health.
