Approach & About

Starting therapy is a courageous act of self-care. It is an honor to walk alongside my clients and support them. I believe in developing a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients, where they can feel safe, validated, and supported. I take an eclectic approach to counseling, which includes utilizing interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Existential Therapy. I believe one of our primary tasks in life is finding ways to make meaning and self-determine. Change is a constant in life, and I am passionate about helping my clients navigate these moments with support and understanding.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor I in Portland, Oregon. I hold a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University. I have a broad range of experience treating people individually on a continuum of care in a community mental health setting, which includes using evidenced-based practices, assessment, and client-centered treatment planning.
